Amy Oleksa began her professional career in 2002, serving first as an Assistant Public Defender in North Carolina, and then as a litigation attorney defending complex personal injury, municipal negligence, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and long-term care liability claims. She has extensive pre-litigation and litigation experience, having successfully represented physician, nursing facility and associated healthcare entity clients in mediations, arbitrations and trial settings in both North Carolina State and Federal courts. With over twenty years of legal experience, Ms. Oleksa provides strategic management of client outcomes and in-depth assessment and mitigation of risk. In addition to earning her Juris Doctorate degree, Cum Laude, from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickson School of Law, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Pre-Law Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
