Denise Siegel began her legal career in 1994 and has extensive experience in the liability insurance industry, including insurance defense and medical malpractice defense litigation. In 2001, Ms. Siegel practiced law at Lowis & Gellen in Chicago where she specialized in the defense of complex medical malpractice cases. She continued her career working at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago where her work focused on the analysis and effect of federal agency guidelines and regulations on Medicare and Medicaid coverage for research in clinical trials. Prior to joining Hamlin & Burton in 2010, Ms. Siegel previously served as a Medical Professional Liability Claims Specialist for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company where she handled claims involving Allied Health Professionals, Health Care Facilities, Home Health Care and Assisted Living Facilities. Ms. Siegel holds a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising with a Business minor from University of Florida. She attended Mini Medical School at The University of Chicago and is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Georgia.
