Gaileen Kaufman began her professional career as a defense attorney with a focus on medical professional liability matters. During her 25-year career as a litigator, Ms. Kaufman successfully represented physicians, nurses, physical therapists, hospitals and long-term care facilities. A highly experienced negotiator, Ms. Kaufman has achieved favorable outcomes for numerous health care providers at mediations and in pre-trial conferences. Ms. Kaufman obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University and her Juris Doctor degree from The University of Connecticut School of Law.
