With designations of Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional and Legal Principles Claims Specialist, Lisa Maynard serves Hamlin & Burton as its Compliance Manager in addition to her litigation management duties. Ms. Maynard manages corporate and client compliance to include Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, OFAC, state and federal regulations, as well as Lloyd’s of London regulatory requirements. Ms. Maynard began her career in 1989 as a multi-lines claims adjuster. Ms. Maynard’s experience includes the handling of General Liability, Commercial Transportation and Employment Practices Liability claims, as well as the development of insurance fraud prevention practices. Her extensive negotiation and mediation experience provides a strong resource to clients in the claim resolution arena. Ms. Maynard graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a pre-law curriculum.
